Campsite Rules and Guidelines

SITE RULES:

Anyone causing a disturbance or being a nuisance will be asked to leave immediately.

As we class ourselves as an eco-site, please use electricity fairly. Over-use can affect other users especially as we rely heavily on stored solar power. Because of this we don't allow electric heaters, hairdryers of any kind or kettles over 12v, etc., anywhere at our venue.

Strictly no wood burning fires on the camping site. Standard briquette or gas BBQ's are fine

BBQs are not permitted near to or on the fishing pools but are allowed around the campsite.

Any damage to fishing tackle or other equipment and facilities caused by children or dogs, is the sole responsibility of the guardian or parent.

BOOKING GUIDELINES

(When not booking via our Pitchup link - other rules apply when booking via our Pitchup link):

All bookings require a non refundable deposit and must be received latest 7 days after provisional booking.

If a booking is made within 4 weeks of the date of arrival the full amount is required at the time of the booking. Balance must be made upon arrival.

If you are paying by cheque, please make payable to Wassell Grove Camping & Caravanning Limited and send to Wassell Grove Fisheries, Wassell Grove Lane, Hagley, DY9 9JH.

DOG AND PET GUIDELINES:

We are a dog friendly site and welcome well behaved dogs of all shapes and sizes.

Any damage caused to fishing tackle or equipment by a dog is solely the responsibility of the dog owner.

We reserve the right to ask customers to remove nuisance dogs. Dangerous dogs are not accepted.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

Earliest arrival time is 3pm for the pods and 1pm for tents and tourers (unless by prior arrangement).
On arrival, tourers must not go beyond the caravan park as turning is difficult past this point so drive onto the camping site before checking in, unless otherwise instructed e.g in the case of heavy rain.
Please check in at reception (at cafe). You will then be directed to your pitch.
Reception/cafe/toilets are a short walk (around 100m from campsite) and can be found adjacent to main car parking area. There is a hill to encounter when walking to and from the facilities building for the cafe, showers and toilets!

Please note - if you have a tourer and proceed beyond camping field upon arrival, you may not be able to turn around if car park is busy!

WHAT TO DO ON DEPARTURE:

Please ensure site is left tidy and that all rubbish is disposed of in bins provided before departure.

When using our chemical and grey waste disposal area please ensure you use the correct points (they are labelled).
